Utmost Group completes the merger of its two Isle of Man insurance entities

Utmost Group plc is pleased to announce that, following approval by the Isle of Man, Jersey and Guernsey Courts, a portfolio transfer of the assets and liabilities of Utmost Limited to Utmost International Isle of Man Limited (formerly Quilter International Isle of Man Limited) under Section 21 of and Schedule 2 to the Isle of Man Insurance Act 2008 was implemented on 30 November 2022. This transfer had the effect of merging Utmost Group’s two Isle of Man insurance entities in Utmost International Isle of Man Limited.

The de-authorisation of Utmost Limited will be completed in the near future.

The merger of the Group’s two Isle of Man insurance entities marks an important milestone in the integration of Quilter International into Utmost. The integration remains on track to complete within the 18-24 month timeframe set out at completion of the acquisition of Quilter International.
